Asking And Receiving (Scriptures)

One of the most important aspects of your relationship with God that you need to focus on is FAITH! How many times in scripture did you hear Jesus say “according to your faith it shall be done”? This means that your faith sets the bar for God to perform at, This means that whatever you experience and obtain in life will all be determined by the level that you are able to believe and partner with God through your faith at!

So here are a few scriptures that I’m focusing on right now in regards to asking and receiving from God. I hope they help…

19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If  you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

23 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
